EGAR Technology Solution in the Largest Russian Bank – RF Sberbank: the Population Gain the Full Access to Equity Market

New York, NY, , November, 30th, 2006 - EGAR Technology announces about implementation of EGAR Trading and Risk Management System in Sberbank Treasury Department. The system provides front-to-back automation of Sberbank Treasury Department operations at the equity market and supports real-time inhouse and clients operations of Sberbank branches.

The implemented solution will cover the investment activity of Sberbank at the Russian financial markets. The system will provide orders accepting, accounts status management, orders processing at the largest trading floors, position keeping, real-time calculations of more than 100 financial indicators, limits management and other functions. The Sberbank regional head offices and branches will have the remote access to the system, which provides the full access to the solution functionality as related to broking.

Chairman and CEO of EGAR Technology Gena Ioffe says: “The project in the bank, that has the largest network of branch offices in Russia and is a leader of the Russian banking system, is a national event. We hope that as a result of our system implementation, almost every Russian citizen will gain the full access to the equity market. It will inspire the growth of the population investing activity and thus will lead to the inflation decreasing and help the Government to solve one the most important problems – inflation. We are very grateful to Sberbank employees for their support while working on this project, which is extremely complicated and resource intensive. We also believe that a new technological platform will provide our partner, Sberbank with the necessary “safety margin” not only in the short but also in the long term”.
